I am one of the three founders of BnB Genius, Inc., along with Chad Ozgur and Kent Morgan. I work on the automation itself — the guest messaging, the task dispatch that fires on checkout, and the voice agent that answers the phone when a guest calls and nobody is free to pick up.

The other half of my week is operations. I co-own One Fine BnB, a management company running hundreds of vacation rentals, so the problems I write about here are ones I am also paying someone to solve at scale. Before short-term rentals I built and exited three tech companies. I built BnBGenius to give a host with one to five listings the tools a manager with hundreds already has.

What I write about here is narrower than “short-term rentals” in general. It is the part that repeats: the same forty questions from guests, the review window that closes fourteen days after checkout, the cleaner who needs to know about a checkout before the guest has left. That is the work BnBGenius automates, and it is the work I know something about.
